FELICITATIONS TO HIS EXCELLENCY BARR. DR. PETER NDUBUISI MBAH

FROM THE IGWE-ELECT OF AGUOBU IWOLLO AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY AND THE GOOD PEOPLE OF IWOLLO WARD, EZEAGU LGA, ENUGU STATE.

As His Excellency marks another remarkable milestone in office, the Igwe-elect of Aguobu Iwollo Autonomous Community, Engr. Charles Maduka Aliozo, together with the good people of Iwollo Ward, Ezeagu Local Government Area, heartily congratulates and felicitates with you for your visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to grassroots development.

The Igwe-elect of Aguobu Iwollo Autonomous Community, Engr. Charles Maduka Aliozo, delivering his goodwill message to His Excellency, Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Governor of Enugu State, in the presence of Directors from the Enugu State Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development, and Chieftaincy Affairs, during the event marking his formal emergence as Igwe-elect, held at the Community Primary School (CPS) field.

Our agrarian community, Aguobu Iwollo, has benefited immensely from your administration’s inclusive governance. As you celebrate impactful years in office, we proudly acknowledge the transformational strides your government has delivered across Iwollo ward, Ezeagu LGA, and the entire state, particularly through people-centered policies anchored on your Tomorrow Is Here vision.

Through the Enugu Community Action Response Stimulus (EN-CARES) program, implemented via Enugu CSDA under your Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development, and Chieftaincy Affairs, Aguobu Iwollo and neighboring communities in our ward now enjoy reliable access to clean water. We are also witnessing significant improvements and transformations in our rural roads, smart schools, and Type-2 Primary Healthcare Centres, these are critical and life-changing interventions for our historically underserved region.

Your Excellency’s leadership has also catalyzed a bold new model for sustainable agriculture through the establishment of the solar-powered off-grid Refrigerated Aggregation Center and integrated greenhouse clusters in Aguobu Iwollo. This innovative pilot project, championed by our Igwe-elect, Engr. Charles Maduka Aliozo, in partnership with the Enugu State Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Industrialization, Enugu State Polytechnic Iwollo, Enugu State Marketing Company and international development partners, is modeling a Net-Zero Circular Economy tailored to rural agrarian communities.

As part of his ongoing project in Business Sustainability Management at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), the Igwe-elect researched global cold-chain logistics leaders like Americold Realty Trust. He then adapted those insights to develop a replicable renewable energy-powered produce aggregation center and value-added services using the swarm electrification model for African farming communities. With this model, he supported Extractis mining operations in transitioning to a zero-waste framework, repurposing to a zero-waste framework, repurposing by-products from coal exploration, into agricultural inputs; a case study now being piloted in Aguobu Iwollo, a community with 24 farm settlements, coal and other natural resources. This is what his partnership with your government is bringing down to our agrarian region to revitalize our agri-cultural heritage.
